Gift is a public health supply chain professional with over five years’ experience in health systems strengthening interventions, particularly optimizing the delivery of essential medicines and health commodities in resource constrained-settings. Her expertise encompasses medical logistics information systems, quantification and procurement planning, capacity building, and improving access for vulnerable populations.
She has successfully implemented improved processes for commodity management at sub national level, leading to significant improvements in commodity security. Recognizing the interdependence between efficient supply chains and sustainable health systems, Gift has a growing interest in health financing and the role of strategic budget advocacy in achieving universal health coverage. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Quantitative Economics and Masters of Public Health from Makerere University.
